Dehydrated female hiker - Skyline Trail

At approximately 10:15am RMRU was called to aid a woman who had been hiking the Skyline Trail and who had run out of water at approximately 5,000 ft. elevation. Due to extremely high temperatures RMRU did not want to risk team member getting into heat problems while approaching on foot. As two RMRU members prepared to respond to the subject in the RSO helicopter, rehydrate her, and fly her to a nearby medical facility, another helicopter pulled the subject out.
