Suicide Rock Injured Climber

RMRU was called out to assist with the rescue of a woman who fell on Suicide Rock near Idyllwild. Several RMRU members made it to the scene and were prepared to assist, but Cal Fire helicopter 301 hoisted the injured woman out and flew her to a waiting air ambulance at Keenwild. Subsequently we learned that the women succumbed to her injuries on the flight to the hospital. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends of the deceased.
