Tramway Three Overdue Marines

We got a call for three overdue Marines from the 29 Palms Marine Base at 10:30 PM. They started their hike at Snow Creek and were going up the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) and were to be picked up by one of their wives at the Palm Springs Tramway. They were to be out at 5:30 PM. Kevin and I arrived at the tram at 11:30 PM and were preparing to board the tram when we got the call that the three had arrived at the Long Valley Ranger station near the upper Tramway Station. The look of disappointment on Kevin's face was priceless. He was glad they were OK but Kevin (Army Retired) REALLY wanted to go help his friends (Marines).
