Man overdue on hike

We received a call from the Hemet Station of the Riverside County Sheriff's department that a 22 year old man was overdue on the Pacific Crest Trail somewhere between Saddle Junction and Highway 74 near Anza. As the call out procedure was being initiated, the man walked out to Garner Valley via Apple Canyon. The mission was then cancelled.
