15 year old girls missing from tent

Most members had just returned home from mission 91-014, a search on the Devil’s Slide Trail, Saddle Junction area. This call was for two missing 15 year old girls from Fern Basin Campground.
We rolled out of bed at 4:00 a.m. after 2 hours sleep and headed for the trailhead. As the first members started searching in the field, the girls returned to their tent. They had not been lost, but partying at another camp site a ½ mile away.
We got a few hours sleep and all met in Idyllwild for breakfast at 8:00 a.m. before returning home.
