Lost hiker looking for Tram

During mission 1991-024 (a search for a missing hiker on the North Face of San Jacinto Peak), a report of another missing hiker in the area was called into the Sheriff. RMRU members near Round Valley, where the new missing hiker was last seen, started to look for hiker #2.
One team coming up to San Jacinto Peak from Little Round Valley found missing hiker #2 coming down the trail towards them.
They asked him where he was going and he said the tramway. They informed him that he had gone the wrong way and the Tramway was down the other side of the mountain.
They then hiked with him back to Round Valley where a ranger going back to the tramway took him back the rest of the way.
