Plane crash with pilot missing from plane

We were searching for the pilot of a plane that had crashed. The pilot left the plane but died from injuries close to the plane. The passenger survived.
Additional Note: The NTSB report (LAX92FA202) indicated that the plane crashed because the pilot allowed himself to fly too low into a boxed canyon. The pilot was also under the influence of marijuana.
