An airplane struck trees on one ridge and settled down on the next ridge. The pilot was injured but was able to radio for help. We maintained radio contact with him until we finally found him sitting in his plane. His biggest complaint was that he was cold.

Additional Note: The NTSB report (LAX93LAO91) stated the flight encountered severe clear air turbulence causing the aircraft to enter into an uncontrolled roll. When the Pilot regained control, the aircraft had entered the clouds. Before the pilot could effect a total recovery, the aircraft collided with the trees on a ridge of the mountain.
