Woman with leg injury needed to be carried out

A
woman, who was hiking with her husband, twisted
her ankle on the Ernie Maxwell Trail. Her husband
left to call for help. RMRU responded with a
wheeled litter and a Sam Splint. The carry out
was simple and quick. At the hospital, x-rays
showed that she had a fracture in her lower leg.
